Accounting Education Foundation

For more than 50 years Texas CPAs have generously funded the TXCPA Accounting Education Foundation’s mission to position students, educators and professionals for success in an evolving and diverse accounting profession through education, career awareness, and support services. The Foundation accomplishes its goals by awarding scholarships to Texas students and recognizing outstanding Texas educators.

Your tax deductible contribution provides the funding that supports these opportunities to invest in the future of the accounting profession. This is the time to help ensure that your firm or business has the workforce it needs in the coming years.

Scholarships

The generosity of Texas CPAs allows the Foundation to fund scholarships to Texas college students. Recipients are accounting majors at a Texas college or university and have the intent of becoming a Texas Certified Public Accountant and entering the accounting profession upon graduation. Recipients from four-year universities receive $2,500, and recipients from the five community colleges approved to offer the additional 30 hours for licensure receive $1,000.
