TXCPA Dallas is now accepting applications for entry into its 15th annual Leadership Development Academy (LDA). Since 2009, the LDA has guided the next generation of future leaders for success both within TXCPA Dallas and beyond.

This year, we are pleased to announce that we've partnered with Adam Tarnow, partner at PeopleWorks International, a management consulting firm in Dallas, where he heads the leadership development practice. He is also co-author of "The Edge: How to Stand Out by Showing You’re All In." 

Adam will be teaching all five sessions of this year's academy, and his book will serve as the foundation of the curriculum.

Topics covered will include:

• Embracing Energy, Diligence, Growth, and Endurance (The "EDGE")
• Professional development through EDGE principles
• Expanding influence as emerging leaders
• Organizational improvement through EDGE integration

WHO WILL BENEFIT:
Professionals with two to five years of experience will acquire leadership skills and make lifelong contacts with like-minded future leaders.

Employers will benefit from the training and insight that participants receive and bring back to their organizations. TXCPA Dallas will benefit by developing future leaders.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE:
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Working at the senior, manager or equivalent level
• Two to five years of experience
• Member of TXCPA Dallas

WHAT IS REQUIRED:
Applicants must commit to the following program requirements:

• Attend class mixer on August 14, 2024
• Attend classes to be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on: August 16, September 20, October 18, November 15, and December 13.
  
• Attend one TXCPA Dallas Board Meeting.
• Attend one Thirsty Thursday Social Networking Hour.
• Introduce a speaker at a TXCPA Dallas event.  
• As a class, organize and execute a community service project.

COST AND PAYMENT:
Pricing based on date application is received:

• Early Bird Pricing (through June 28, 2024): $750
• After June 28, 2024: $850
  

Payment will be requested for each applicant upon notification of acceptance to the program.
