Pathway to CPA:
For UT-Permian Basin students

Pathway to CPA was created specifically for UTPB students. It includes a plan of study and road map created to help UTPB accounting students complete 120 hours to sit for the CPA exam and complete 150 hours necessary for certification. This is not an official graduation document or official degree map.

The preliminary course schedule gives you a plan of study starting after you’ve completed 63 hours of course work and starting your junior year. The road map helps you know when to fill out your application of intent and other items needed to successfully sit for the CPA exam.

You will also find exam review courses and discounts, along with other important materials. This plan was created by TXCPA Permian Basin with the cooperation of UTPB accounting staff. (Published February 2024)
