Norm Robbins, Past President, is pleased to announce 2019-2020 Chapter award recipients.  “This year’s award recipients represent the best of the best,” Norm said, “The value and benefit our members provide to each other and our community through their committee contributions is immeasurable.”  We applaud these members for their outstanding service to the Chapter and profession.

CPA of the Year

Gary Tonniges, Jr
Gary Tonniges JrThis year’s top award goes to the Chapter’s top nerd!  Gary’s IT expertise is in high demand, and he willingly shares his knowledge with fellow members.  He has spoken at a Lunch and Learn and was a crowd favorite at the Career Development Forum in November.  Gary volunteered to participate in a recent technology transition, not as a member of a committee, but donated his expertise to the cause.   He chaired the state Business & Industry committee from 2018-2020.

In 2019, the Santaccountants committee began work with our partners to expand the number of children recipients. Their efforts grew the program over 20% this year.
