COURSE DESCRIPTION: We will review various applications of blockchain technology. Blockchain is quickly moving beyond bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. We will examine some use cases in healthcare and then discuss why not all cryptocurrencies are the same. The current correction in the price of bitcoin gives us an opportunity to have a calm conversation as to its future value and impact on financial systems.
