TSCPA Outstanding Accounting Educator Award
The Outstanding Accounting Educator awards recognize Texas accounting educators who have demonstrated excellence in teaching and have distinguished themselves through active service to the accounting profession.
Classroom excellence is evidenced through instructional innovation, student motivation and the pursuit of practical learning opportunities for students. Professional contribution is evidenced through involvement and accomplishments in accounting organizations and in student accounting organizations.
The award recipients will be honored before their peers during TSCPA's Accounting Education Conference. Each of the recipients will receive a plaque in addition to a $1,000 award provided courtesy of the Accounting Education Foundation of TSCPA, Inc.
Only one Outstanding Accounting Educator Award may be awarded in each category. Winners will not be announced until the Accounting Education Conference. No awards will be given in categories where judges determine that the entries do not merit them.
