Peer Review

Since 1989, the Texas Society of CPAs has administered peer reviews for AICPA and TSCPA member firms, and for non-member firms registered with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.

There are more than 4,000 firms enrolled in the program in Texas and since its inception TSCPA has administered more than 20,000 peer reviews. The Peer Review program is dedicated to enhancing the quality of accounting, auditing and attestation services performed by Texas CPAs in public practice.

The purpose of the Peer Review section of the Web site is to provide general information regarding the program in a comprehensive and user-friendly format. TSCPA’s goal is to help the reviewed firm and its reviewer have the smoothest possible progression through the peer review process and in complying with the Peer Review standards.

More information is available for reviewed firms and reviewers on the following pages:

If you have additional questions, please contact TSCPA’s Peer Review Department at 972-687-8500 or 800-428-0272.
