Black and white art: Emulsion-side down negatives are required to ensure the best possible image. Negatives must be furnished on 133-line screens. Color Art: Furnish composite, plate-ready film. Right-reading, emulsion-side down with a matach print, cromalin or set of progressives. Screen ruling: 133-line Advertisments must comply with these specifications. Ads that do not meet these standards will be returned for corrections at the advertiser's expense. Any cost incurred by Today's CPA as a result of an ad not conforming to these mechanical specifications will be billed to the advertiser. To guarantee position, add a 10 percent premium to applicable rate. All position requests are subject to approval. Frequency discount: Advertising placed within one calendar year of first insertion is eligible for the frequency discount. The advertiser or agency must specify size and frequency on the signed TSCPA space contract. Contracts may be revised to increase the number of insertions. Terms, including ad specifics, will be agreed upon when contract is signed. Advertisers will adhere to the terms for the length of the contract. Changes in the frequency rate will be prorated to the advertiser's or agency's account. For example, a one-time advertiser who adds two insertions within a calendar year will have the three-time frequency discount credit on the third insertion. A six-time advertiser who runs fewer than six ads in a calendar year will be billed at the earned frequency rate. Advertising inserts can also be placed in Today's CPA. Costs for inserts are provided upon request. Bleeds: Available at no additonal cost in full page and double-truck sizes only. Allow a minimum 1/4" trim at top, bottom and outer edges.
