San Angelo Accountant Honored by State CPA Society
Texas CPAs Recognize Janell Eckert for Contributions to Accounting Profession


DALLAS — The Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) recently honored San Angelo certified public accountant Janell W. Eckert with the organization’s Young CPA of the Year award.

The award recognizes a CPA under 39-years-old for his or her contributions to the accounting profession and the community.
Eckert is a shareholder in the San Angelo accounting firm of Evans Eckert & Peterson PC and is past president of the society’s San Angelo Chapter.

She is an active member of the San Angelo Daybreakers Toastmasters Club and volunteers for many speaking engagements for civic organizations throughout West Texas.

Eckert was selected in 1999 as a “Woman to Watch” by the San Angelo Chapter of the Professional Women’s Organization.
