San Antonio Accountant Honored by State CPA Society
Texas CPAs Recognize Jim Tsakopulos for Commitment to Community Service

DALLAS — The Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) recently honored San Antonio CPA Jim Tsakopulos with the organization’s award for distinguished public service.

The award is given for outstanding charitable, community and civic activities and other public service not related to TSCPA.

A shareholder with the San Antonio accounting firm Tsakopulos Brown Schott & Anchors, Tsakopulos has volunteered with number community organizations, including the Miss Fiesta San Antonio Scholarship Program. He serves as the official CPA for this non-profit scholarship fund.

He has spent the past five years chairing United Way’s CPA Division. In 2004, he was named Distinguished Alumni by the St. Mary’s University Alumni Association where he served on the board of directors and as treasurer.
