Floresville Native Named to Executive Board of Texas CPA Society
Rudy Ramirez Will Help Oversee Activities of 27,000-Member Organization

DALLAS — San Antonio certified public accountant and Floresville native Rudy Q. Ramirez, Jr. was named Friday to the executive board of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). TSCPA is the third largest state CPA society in the United States.

Ramirez was appointed to a one-year term by TSCPA Chairman Ed Polansky. As a member of the organization’s executive board, he will set policy, manage programs and oversee activities designed to serve Texas CPAs.

Ramirez is the internal audit manager for Zachry Construction Corp. He has held multiple leadership positions within TSCPA and the San Antonio Chapter and has received numerous awards for his service.

Ramirez holds a master’s degree in technology from the University of Texas at Austin, a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas State University-San Marcos, and an associate’s degree from Wharton County Junior College.
