Midland Accountant Named Chairman-Elect of Texas CPA Society
Larry Edgerton Elected New Officer of 27,000-Member Organization

DALLAS — Midland accountant Larry Edgerton, CPA, CVA, was elected June 25 as chairman-elect of the 27,000-member Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).

Edgerton will serve as chairman-elect of the society’s board of directors, which sets policy, manages programs and oversees activities designed to serve Texas CPAs. TSCPA is the third largest state CPA society in the United States.

Edgerton is managing partner of Midland accounting firm Elms, Faris, & Co., LLP, where he specializes in tax consulting, business valuation, and litigation support.

In addition to his work with TSCPA, Edgerton is a member of the Texas State University-San Marcos’ Department of Accounting Professional Advisory Council and serves as a trustee for High Sky Children’s Ranch Endowment.

Edgerton holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas State University-San Marcos.
