The TSCPA Texas Margins Tax Task Force has completed its report on the new tax. After extensive study and detailed review, TSCPA has released its official analysis of the new Margin Tax and made recommendations as to technical corrections needed in the statute.

The Texas Legislature reconvenes in January 2007 and it is widely anticipated that it will be considering adjustments to the tax. TSCPA is now prepared to step forward with suggestions.
