Request for Nominations for TSCPA Award

The Texas Society of CPAs is comprised of many outstanding CPAs who volunteer their time, resources, and energy to issues which are of vital importance to the organization and the accounting profession in Texas. The Awards Committee is asking for your assistance in identifying these volunteers so that they can be recognized by TSCPA. 

The honors for consideration are:

• Outstanding Chairman
• Meritorious Service to the Accounting Profession
• Distinguished Public Service
• Young CPA of the Year
• Honorary Fellow
• Honorary Member

If possible, please include a copy of the nominee’s business resume or the name and phone number of the person who can provide this information. Read the criterion for your guidance in selecting a qualified individual. Your letter should address each of the requirements specified in the criteria for a particular award.  Kindly send your nominations to me with a copy to Melinda Bentley at the Society office.

Announcement of the recipients will be made during the Annual Meeting of Members in  Mescalero, New Mexico on June 27-28, 2008 at the Inn of the Mountain Gods.
