TSCPA Chairman Donna H. Wesling, CPA
Donna is a sole practitioner in the Austin area.
She was raised in Corpus Christi and went on to Texas A&M where she graduated summa cum laude in 1974. During her career she worked at local public accounting firms in Bryan/College Station, Houston and Austin.
She has been an active TSCPA member since being certified in 1976 and has served in numerous leadership capacities, including Austin Chapter president (1984-1985) and TSCPA CPE Council chair (1990-1993). She has also served on TSCPA’s executive board six times.
In 1987 she was named the Young CPA of the Year and has gained the recognition of her peers with many other awards, including the Austin Chapter's Distinguished Service Award in 2006 and 2010.
On the national level, she served on the AICPA CPE Standards subcommittee and the AICPA CPE Executive Board. She has also served as a member of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy CPE Committee.
Donna and her husband Steve (who works with her) have been married since 1995, and have two daughters, Kirsten and Holly. She is an active member and past president (2002-2003) of the Rotary Club of Lakeway/Lake Travis. She and her husband also served as co-presidents of the Lake Travis High School Band Parents (2003-2004). She is active in the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce and has served on the Lake Travis High School Business Advisory Council.
Her hobbies include snow skiing, hiking, biking, golf, traveling, yoga, reading, and knitting.
